Driven with the vision and passion to bring high level volleyball to the Slinger community, our coaches work to help to build and develop athletes to reach new goals both on and off the court. Working together with the Club Director, the Slinger SET teams will receive high-level, hands on instruction to help grow their games.
8TH GRADE | HEIDI WEBER
Heidi started her playing career at New Berlin West High School. She was a 3 year letter winner and completed her senior year earning 1st team all-conference and voted by the coaches as the Conference Player of the Year. Heidi proudly played at the collegiate level attending UW-Stevens Point and is currently ranked 12th in all time career digs. Go Pointers!!!
Prior to starting a family, she coached the U15 girls team at Southwest Volleyball Club. Last year she knew it was time to get back into the gym and share her passion for the game. She is currently coaching the 13-Black girls team at I AM Volleyball Club and having a blast!
Heidi is most excited to give back to the Slinger community and develop strong athletes both mind and body.
7TH GRADE | LEXINGTON McKILLIPS
Lexington started coaching this year for I AM volleyball club. In addition, she is currently attending Concordia University Wisconsin where she played all 4 years and is majoring in event and Hospitality Business. During her 12-year-long career, she played at Wisconsin Juniors volleyball along with Sky High Volleyball Club. During her high school years, she was named all-conference and all-area at Antioch Community High School. Lexington loves the game and is thrilled to be working with up-and-coming volleyball players!
7/8TH COMBO | EMILY PANKAU
Emily began her volleyball journey at the age of 8 with G-Force VBC where she fell in love with the sport. After relocating to North Carolina in middle school, she continued playing for Triangle VBC, NC Academy and NC Elite along with her high school team. It was during that time that she began coaching for NC Elite's Youth League Program. Upon graduation, she signed with Clarke University and then transferred to Loras College. Unfortunately, a significant injury, forced her to stop competing. This opened the door to begin coaching.
She began coaching as the head of Milwaukee Lutheran’s volleyball program while there she improved upon the school’s previous seasons and was nominated for the Badger Regions Sportsmanship Award, along with I coaching the IAM 15-Gold Team. She then returned to Clarke University as their JV Coach and interim Head Coach for two months of the season. This year she returned back to Wisconsin to and coached at IAM for a second
season with the 12-Red team along with the I AM Next development program.
She loves sharing all she has learned and her experience with athletes to build strong skills and good habits that can be applied on and off the court.

6TH GRADE | ALLISON TANKING
Alison played 4 yrs at West Bend West and 3 yrs at MKE Sting. After high school, she played 4 yrs at UW-Whitewater. During her time at UWW, her team earned the only 2 National Titles in the program's history, along with individual accolades of All-Conference, All- Region and All-American. After college, Alison went to UW-Stevens Point on a grant from the NCAA for Coaching and Athletic Administration, where she served as the Assistant Volleyball Coach and Assistant to the Athletic Director. During her time at Point, Alison helped the team to earn their first conference title since the 80’s as well as assisting to recruit the team that after her departure, made it to the final four multiple times.
Alison left Point to move back to West Bend to be closer to home when she started her family. She served as the West Bend West Varsity Volleyball Coach for 6 yrs and helped bring the school multiple top of conference finishes and a Conference Title and a Sectional Final visit for the first time in 7yrs. Alison has also coached camps, clinics and clubs for teams/schools, across the state for over 20 yrs.
Alison took a break after coaching West to be more present with her daughters when they were younger. Now that they are entering into middle school, Alison is most excited about getting back in the gym to support and guide the players to become the best volleyball players and teammates they can be.
